My Story

I'm Kate from Boston and traveling is one of my passions. I love finding good deals and have a real knack for persuading people to come with me. 

While growing up, I went on family vacations to Florida, road trips to Canada and countless camping trips to the Cape. I started to develop a strong urge to explore the world, but at the time, all I could afford were travel magazines. My first trip on my own was Puerto Rico, twice. When I got home, I came down with a serious travel bug. 

To pay for school and feed my brewing travel addiction, I worked weekends at a hotel during college. The discounts were unreal.  Since graduation, I have now been able to travel more than ever.

How? Any chance I get, I am not picky, and a weekend trip to Portugal is all too normal for me. I mean, why not--It's only a five hour flight and who doesn't love waking up in a new country.

My love for travel may have come from my nana--who passed down her "gallivanting", or it could be because my parents kept me on a leash as a kid...yes, a leash. Apparently I would get pretty excited and book it. Guess some things haven't changed?
