I arrived in Adam’s second home - The Philippines! I had 12 hours in Manila to see (and eat) as much as possible.
I could see why Adam always traveled here for work. The Shangri-La at the Fort, Manila was only $150 a night and included an amazing buffet with cuisines from all over the world. It also had a wild two floor gym, spa and yoga studio that was open 24/7. Speaking of 24/7, the city itself is open around the clock since many people work at BPO centers.
For dinner we stopped at Locavore for traditional Filipino cuisine (with a twist).
BGC is a nice area to walk around — there is a pedestrian only shopping street and also pop up (and stationary) art exhibits.
The next morning we stopped at WildFlour for a quick treat before heading to the airport. It was a hipster spot that had your typical fresh fruit juices, chia bowls and a luxury car show right outside!
